Digital BW, The Print

Hi there

I have the opportunity to pick up a used 1270 for
about 150USD.  Are there any strong advantages to
getting a 1280 new over this printer?  Any tips or
tricks I should be looking out for?  I realise this is
an older printer...but is it stil a contender when it
comes to high quality prints?
