Digital BW, The Print

I've tried everything back to the Epson 3000 days and the early quad
inksets (then 1200, 1270, 2000p, and now 2200).  I recently moved
over to a Mac G5 (from XP) and just gave QTR a spin on my 2200.  I was never happy
with the 2200OEM driver for B&W, even with the grey balancer, due to excessive
metamerism.

After floundering a bit on the nuances of installation under a new
environment (panther at that..), I produced my first print using the
seven color setting and 90% cool curve balance. It was beautiful!

I was totally blown away by the tonality, neutrality, and total lack
of metamerism!!! The black density is beautiful too (on EEM).  


A great big Thank You to Roy & all who've worked hard to bring this
along for all of us!!!!  Now...off to burn through some cartridges!
