Digital BW, The Print

Somewhere I read (and I can´t find the message again to pinpoint it)
that somebody is using the 2200(which is the same as the 2100 minus 
some software)for BO (black only?) printing. If my interpretation of
BO is correct than I would disagree. The 2100 at least has a button 
for BLACK, but prints are made using colours. My BLACK (only ) prints
have much more metamerism than the prints made from grayscale files
printed under COLOUR. (Windows XP-PS 7). Perhaps I have misunderstood 
something

After reading through various messages I get the impression that 
there are now other inks than EPSON`s available for the 2100. Is this 
correct and where do I find them.

Anybody can wants to offer some comments? Thanks
