The 2000P is fully '1280' compatible in that I purchase the 1280 empty carts from MIS. There is a high degree of physical similarity. I am not even sure if this small JetTec chip resetter is even for the 2000P - each time I install a new cart, the software complains that I have not installed proper Epson carts, but to click Ok to continue .... There were several people at the art show last weekend that confirmed in cash the 2000P Is an excellent B&W printer. That much, I can assure you. The reference for quality: my Epson 3000 with Piezo driver and PiezoTone Selenium inks. When you get the 2000P feeding the MIS FSE inks smoothly, a few cleaning cycles and overnight pauses, you will have a very reliable printing system.
