Hi Alex, Thanks for all the info and suggestions -- one question, though: Earlier in this thread Tom had said "... I also believe the 2000P to be an excellent black and white (hextone) printer. the introduction of MIS' Eboni black ink really improved the shadow areas!!! ...with MIS FSE (Original, Neutral didn't cut it) inks, it is nearly plug and play..!" Are you using one of the two ink-order configurations below and getting near "plug and play" results as Tom suggested, or are you working with the curve set you described in your previous post which sounds like a considerably more complex process? I don't mind complexity to achieve excellence, but I'm just curious ;>) Will try the original and alternate ink orders when they arrive sans curves, and move forward from there...
