I think you are on the right track. Cleaning the pad, then letting it soak with some windex and paking the head over night, should do the trick quite nicely. Once you have it going, let us know how you like it. I compared it to what I use to use, the original MIS inks, and now the UT, and I definatly like the UT and the nc curve. But thats my choice.
