RE: [Digital BW] Tell me your opinions on Epson Watercolor Radiant White

2003-11-19 by Tim Atherton

personally, I don't like it... it's like someone took EAM and turned it into
a slightly watercolour textured paper. It isn't a particularly heavy weight
paper doesn't have a nice watercolour paper feel to me.

I guess if the folks are looking for something to buy locally it might be
difficult to find a good paper.

I'm guessing you are printing B&W/quads?

You could try some of the Premier Fine Art hot pressed. Different weights,
lovely to print on - very nice for quad prints. Very slightly
off-white/creamy compared to say Photo Rag.

Cheapest from photowarehouse.biz but also at inkjetart.com - prices probably
closer to the Epson watercolour

I just downloaded some profiles for colour printing with the 2200 for
photorag and I've found they also work very well with this - lovely colour
prints (they profiles are great with the photorag too).
