I've been trying to sort this out myself... the price is soooo compelling and it would be nice to have an archival color printer to go with my quadtone 1160. Anyone using a 2000p for color? The bad press seemed more geared for glossy paper while I found good press with matte paper. Anyone have more details? If it is more an issue of Epson not telling people that the inks don't work with glossy papers it might be a minor point for me. Hey, even the 2200 doesn't do great job on glossy paper IMO. thanks, mark --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, cpeacock@c... wrote: > More to the point, considering the bad press to 2000P received; is a 2000P a bargain at $200 (or at any price)? > > Chuck Peacock
