Hello: I just set up a new (it's been in a box since early last year) Epson Photo 1280 to print an exhibit of my student's work. I never installed the OEM Epson color cartridges, but instead, installed a set of MIS VM hextone cartridges that were just delivered yesterday. I installed the Epson driver on my Apple G4 (OS X 10.2.8) and followed the directions for installing the MIS cartridges (two cleaning cycles). I cannot get it to print an image out of PhotoShop, nor even the Epson head nozzle test pattern. It sends the data to the 1280, the machine goes through the motions of printing, but no ink is laid on the paper. I cleaned the head three times and then quit trying.
