Just in case this hasn't been brought up before: when comparing output between the Epson 1280 and 2200 (whether for color, quad/septone or b-o black-and-white), remember that that the 1280 "best" output is 2880 x 720 dpi, while the 2200's is 2880 x 1440dpi. I only mention this because, as near as I can tell, just about everyone here has been mentioning "2880" in reference to both printers, without mentioning "that other number". - Barrett
