"Easy B&W"

2003-12-01 by Paul Roark

It looks like MIS is going to market my "no workflow" inksets under the
name/category of "Easy B&W." I assume this will include the C82 inksets.
(Carbon warm and neutral - and anything in between by mixing the carts
installed.) It might include my "carbon 8" for the 1280.

The UT-2 inkset could also be in the "Easy B&W" category, because it can be
printed from a grayscale file with no curves, or other Photoshop or RIP
workflow. However, it is also a full sepia-to-cold variable-tone inkset.
It even has enough coolness in it to neutralize the warm shadows of
Pictorico and some other RC papers that could not be totally neutralized
with the UT-1 inkset.
