In case you forget, this list is about Digital B&W Prints, NOT B&W photography per se- that's why a number of people complained about the Tri-X topic: ostensibly, the film (assuming a digital workflow) has very little to do with printing... However, talking about running PhotoShop efficiently, the #1 application for printing and preparing files for print, is certainly as on-topic as talking about QTR, ImagePrint, or OPM/IJC... In fact, Paul Roark's curves, one of the prime methods for using quadtone inks, are applied via PhotoShop... 2) If you are going to complain I suggest the following bit of old advice "he who is without sin may cast the first stone".. And how much of this thread (inclusions which were not necessary for context) did each of you find necessary to include with your responses?
