Digital BW, The Print

finally took the plunge and  started up my new epson 2200, only to 
discover it would not work and got a brand new one in return 
yesterday.  finally printed after setting my front end and back end 
for black only as per claytons recommendations. discovered I dont 
have matte black inks. . . . will order eboni today and pick up some 
matte black locally. Delighted with my first attempts at color! 
(Black only not ticked),not as hard as  I thought with out  color 
mamagement software, icc profiles,  imageprint and all the rest that 
has been scaring the daylights out of me.  However,  now that I have 
the settings for black, and want to print in color what settings 
have to be changed back in order to do so other than the black only 
box?  Do I have to change both front end and back end?
