Please, no more scanner posts!SV: [Digital BW] Re: Beginner

Ulf and others,
Please do not be put off on asking any question relating to
DigitalBlackandWhite ThePrint here. But there is a very obvious box
at the top of the message index that says "Search Archive". I just
entered "Scanner" and came up with enough information to fill the
British Libary.
I use this search engine on a regular basis to find the answer to
most of my questions. If you can't find the answer you are seeking
here then please post your question, of observation, here and I am
sure you will get much help.
Scanner questions have been beaten to death of late, why anybody
with decent file would try to scan without a drum scanner is beyond
me personally. I tried using a flatbed and a Nikon scanner and gave
up. Digital is the way to go. I am not that good at digital darkroom
processing, but I can produce a very nice B/W using a old Epson 3000
the likes of which I seldom have seen from most of the pro
processing outfits over the years.

Please use the "Search Archive" first.

Sierra Gold

PS if there is anyone out there wanting to visit Yosemite this
winter and would like to walk in Ansel Adams footsteps, so to speak,
please get in touch with me as I am considering hosting a trip there
which might require some snowshoes! I want to capture a "Clearing
Storm"
