Misaligned line in nozzle check - please help

2003-12-06 by Richard Smallfield

Hi,
I would have searched the archives, but thought my question would be too complicated to search for.

I have been experiencing a single faint band in many prints, about 5mm or more from the left hand edge of a (portrait oriented) print.

After running nozzle checks, I've have found a single line that is too low in one of the diagonals of the LM part of the test pattern. (I'm using UT inks.)

I have run cleaning cycles and head alignment, to no avail.

I can scan the nozzle check printout to show anyone if they are interested.

Oh - it's an Epson 1200.

thanks,
Richard
