Hello All, I am fairly experienced with using numerous grayscale inks on a 1280. Having previously used color inks to print b/w, I know how challenging (and frustrating) it can be. So I was impressed when a friend of mine recently showed me a 13 x 19 b/w print he made on his 2200. It was absolutely neutral and showed no evidence of metamerism. I went to his home last night and saw first-hand how he stumbled upon this. Here goes: Paper: DotWorks FineArt HeavyWeight paper Printer Settings: Enhanced Matte media setting, 1440 dpi, ICM, NCA Profile: Downloaded from the dotworks.com website. That is it! The image space can be either grayscale or color RGB. This was the best print I have seen from a 2200 that did not use some fancy RIP. I am not in anyway connected to DotWorks. But I am sufficiently impressed and thought you 2200 owners may want to know. I am going to play with his system some more and see if I can get such fine prints using the profile on other papers. Regards. Shilesh
