Digital BW, The Print

Having read the recent debates about a dedicated B/W printer I am wondering
if I should get a new Epson.  At the moment I am using a 2200 with MIS Ebony
to produce B/O prints which I am pretty happy with (thanks Clayton).

In the UK the 1280 is not available, so is the 1290s the equivalent?  What
is the difference between the 1290 and 1290s?

I am thinking about trying the MIS Ultra Tones (2?)

Any help would be appreciated
