hi Steve, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I am using the UT inkset with Eboni black. Testing this on EEM because it's fairly inexpensive. I had to buy the 1280 carts and swap the chips from some old OEM 2000p carts. The printer did not recognized the chips that came on the UT carts even after resetting. I have ordered the 4oz. bulk ink and some virgin 1280 carts that I will refill and rechip. I'll wait and see how UT-2 is received before commiting to that. Some of the UT-2 workflow is based on using the sliders and I have never gotten good results with those controls, plus I like the tone I am getting with the UT. Makes a beautiful print with a high quality image but ones with less range have some chunky transitions.
