I am stunned by the time your machine needs to start PS-CS. My laptop Win XP - 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, with the 3.8GB partition for a scratch disk loads the PS-CS in 28 sec. I have just checked it 3 times, rebooting the machine and starting from scratch. My old station Win2K - 550MHz, 1GB RAM, with the 15GB partition for a scratch disk loads the PS-CS long - say very long for me - 1min 27 sec. I have not too many plugins, but the usual Andromeda, Genuine Fractals, IR and so. I could never thought that the machine with double processor drags it's feet that much. --- If I am frustrated by the slow start of the PS-CS... Wow... Jack Editor P.O.V.
