Digital BW, The Print

I have had many frustrating moments trying to use Photo Rag 308 with both of 
my Epson 1160's.  It prints (as opposed to shooting right through without 
printing) less than 25% of the time.  While I have tried a variety of different 
"tricks," including cardboard backs of various thicknesses and guiding the paper 
in at various angles by hand, no one thing has consistently been successful.  
In general, I have found the paper feed mechanism of the 1160's to be very 
temperamental, though perhaps a little less so with thinner papers.  

I would be curious to hear of others' experiences.
