Neither of my 1160s has ever had a paper-feed problem at any weight, not even when I forget the backer board. I've even had one of them feed and print _on_ a backer board as heavy as 364 lb (a Crane sample) when I under-counted the stock on which I was printing. What would account for this I don't know except that I've never used a paper coated with anything which would make the rollers slick. Probably I should replace my 1160s, but I haven't used them much and hate to let them go. -- Sam
