Andrea,
     Don't set yourself up for disappointment by hoping the 7960 will
give you neutral prints.  Don't get me wrong, it's a great printer and I
just bought one (actually my second one), and I'll probably use it for
most of my B&W from here on.  But the prints are not neutral.  They do
exhibit some metamerism.  E-mail me privately if you want more
information.
