On this page they sell the Eboni for the black position: http://inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/epsoncomps_2200.html > What? Isn't there a way to just swap out the black > cartridge for an Eboni one? You can switch cartridge positions by changing the chips on the cartridges and doing some careful work with a knife to make it fit in the new position. If you look at the bottom left of the printed side of the cartridge you can see a keylock system which is different for each position. Compare the cartridge in question with a real matte black position cartridge and cut away the pieces that doesn't match. You also need a Matte black chip on the cartridge. I did this before by taking a chip from a used Matte black cartridge and using a chip resetter on it. If you look closely at the chip you can see it's secured to the cartridge with two small pieces of plastic, one in the top center and one on the bottom. You only need to cut away the top piece of plastic, while leaving the bottom one in place. This ensures that you can freely remove the chip, while it's still secured sufficiently to the cartridge once back in place. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no
