Mike, I can't explain how the GB software interfaces with the Epson profiles, but it apparently does as I get drastically different output if I accidently select the wrong paper profile. I have the GB software "on" all the time for both my B&W and color work. I have pretty much eliminated the green cast and other significant color cast from my B&W using EEM paper. I have to admit, it was a lot of trial and error. It's not perfect, but it is a HUGE improvement over what I was able to obtain just using the Epson profiles without the GB. You may want to refer to a previous post I made on this topic.. message number 40176. By the way, the accuracy of my color output was noticeably improved also. Good luck!
