Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
I was looking at a friend's prints today made on his 2000P with Epson UC inks and the blacks look denser than what I'm getting with my Eboni black. (We both use Epson HWM paper; I use UT1 inks.)

Is there a difference in the density of the black produced by these two inks, or could it be that there is some way that I could make my blacks blacker?
