Semigloss.

I agree.

Right now my preferences are 

1.  Epson Premium Semigloss for the top, archival, sprayed alternative; 

2.  Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl for a 30 year, sprayed print; 

3.  Epson Glossy Photo Paper for a cheap but good image that needs no spray.
