Harry, use only the Epson carts till you've got the nozzle clog problems solved. That way you know you have good carts. I find the Epson ink to be best at unclogging nozzles. Don't hesitate to reuse them as they have poppet valves which make them reusable. BTW, Bob at MIS says their $5 Chinese "el cheapo" color carts work like the Epson ones in this regard. I have some but have not tried to use them for this yet.
