I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a shot.  I 
also use the 2200 for color and B&W output.  I sometimes use the BO 
option that Clayton Jones describes.  Regarding the settings in PS 
CS:

I just leave the front end settings the same as I use for color - 
Adobe RGB, US Web Coated Swop v2, dot gain 20%, etc.  I DO NOT 
change them for BO printing.  I tried the different dot gain 
settings to see the effect, but decided to leave them as they were 
for my color printing as this worked the best for me.

On the back end, after setting the driver for black ink only, I 
simply select one of three profiles - Same as Source, Printer Color 
Management, OR the Epson EEM paper profile.  I use the EEM paper 
profile most of the time with EEM paper, but you can experiment and 
see if there are any differences between the same as source, etc. 
profiles.  I did detect subtle differences, but the EEM paper 
profile worked fine for me.

when I'm printing color, I just change the settings in the driver 
(from black ink only to whatever you are using for color) and use 
the appropriate paper profiles and start printing.
