> smooth out women's skin one would usually use a yellow filter. > > Or red..... > > Richard Hi Richard, That sounds better, as I believe green enhances contrast (and is typically used for "enhancing" clouds)...so it would probably not be good for reducing the visibility of skin defects...of course, Vaseline on the lense would probably be better, or a stocking over the enlarging lense...or a host of other standard tricks to do this.
