OT: Coating for poster sized silver print?

Hi, I just have received a poster print of a B&W photo (about 
20"x30") on RC photo paper. It looks great at this size and I would 
like to frame it on the wall without glass. Are the coatings that are 
used for inkjet prints also recommended for traditional prints?
