Re: [Digital BW] Polaroid type 55 negs

2004-01-26 by Mark Savoia

Inside unnameable source (she still has a job there) says many films
will be discontinued soon as part of an effort to save the company. It
has been in chapter (?) for some time now and it's stock is worthless.
They are getting killed by digital. They missed the boat. When was the
last time someone shooting digital shot a Polaroid first? Looks like
the only ones who may still be using their films are some police
departments and artists. Sad but true; if not enough customers buy
their films, why make them. They are trying to make digital printing
papers, etc. now to keep their heads above water. Perhaps a buyout from
some other struggling company will fit the menu.
