Hi Copal, Are the banding lines that you see (I see them in your samples as well) parallel to the head movement direction, or in other words, perpendicular to the direction the paper is going through the printer? Reason I ask, is that I am getting the same thing, and head alignment has nothing to do with aligning the dots in the direction of the paper feed. I am thinking that an adjustment is needed to fine tune the paper advance, as it moves line by line. I have the 1280 adjustment program, but don't see any test or adjustment for determining the accuracy of the paper advance. If the paper advance was to be off by just a little bit, this would cause problems (and it might very well be). So I guess I have a question: anyone know how to test the accuracy of the paper feed, and how to adjust it if it's off?
