Don, Hear, hear!! - I got the 1280 with UT2 going this weekend and am gleefully joining the True Believer ranks. Hats off to Paul and his collaborators at MIS! What a relief it will be without printer troubles. My darkroom is now an inkroom I'm afraid. Now what to do with all those bottles and carts of ink I don't need? I also have the Piezo plug-in to compare to and find UT2 to be in the same league. I was pleased with piezo quads but never got the hex set to behave in my 1200. I've been doing EAM and other similar matte papers with Eboni and a couple on EPS with a spray coat and they are best-ever. I like the plain vanilla tone of the UT2 inks without warming further. I'd like to be able to get a really extra warm sepia when I need it though.
