The test you have posted shows only wether or not the bi-
directionalprinting is working properly; if you can't get perfect 
alignment between the top and bottm sections of each line, TURN OFF 
BI-DIRECTIONAL PRINTING! Mis-alignment of this type can cuase all 
sorts of weird problems from simple loss of sharpness 
to 'herringbone'patterns. Unless you can get it absolutely perfect 
(and confirm that by checking with a lupe for double dots where 
there should be only one)its better to just give up the speed and 
turn it off. If you are printing with it off, then forget that 
particular alignment test, it is irrelevant.
