Mike I am also using the UT2 inks in an Epson 1280. I tried the grayscale first and really had to boost my contrast. I then used the Rourke workflows with the grayscale image converted to RGB. I found these results to be much better. Also on glossy paper printing at 2880 also gave a significant improvement in transition regions. I am not an expert, just my experience. By the way I am still using the QPK black for glossy. I will try the eboni black on glossy when I run out.
