At this point, there is no equivalent in Linux for being able to print from something like Photoshop print preview. I often use GIMP for final sizing or tweaking of an image but I print from a command line. Actually, it isn't that much different since in Linux one can switch from one desktop to another so, for example, the image can be manipulated in GIMP and saved and then a new desktop brought up and the printing done from a terminal there. One day I am sure we will be able to print from GIMP directly but not yet. Roger
