I also do both color and B&W, and just got a LaCie Electronnblue 22 
and am pretty happy with it. The only complaint I have is that I 
don't like the fine horizontal lines on the screen (I think it's 
from where the masks join up) but I think that's unavoidable in a 
22" monitor.

Whatever you get, plan on spending ~$200 more for a monitor 
calibration tool. Even the best monitor will drift around over time, 
and what's the point of spending $700 for a monitor if you don't 
know the colors are as close as they can be to objective? 
Colorvision and GretagMacbeth sell such tools (I've used both and 
slightly prefer the Colorvision).

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
