Most cameras allow 1/3 stop increments, up to +/- 2 stops. On my camera, if it's on aperture priority it will change the shutter speed, and if it's on shutter priority it will change the aperture. If it's on Program it could do either or both. BTW, this is an Off Topic subject for this forum, but as long as this thread doesn't get strung out real long the occasional OT question is ok.
