I am surprised by your comments given the success people have had with BO printing on semi-gloss with Eboni (the spray was simply to fix the ink and stop it from rubbing off). I would have thought that if BO printing with Eboni on semi-gloss was good then colour printing on semi-gloss using Eboni black would be good also. Steve <I do not think it's a matter of spraying as the eboni ink on glossy I find just dull and lifeless. I guess spraying might help for that. As a comparison I found MIS FS-N inks to look pretty good on glossy when I used that in my 1160. It just smudged easily. Spraying that solved that problem. With eboni on glossy it just looked so bad from the get-go that I dropped the idea after my first try. Not sure why as I did not think the eboni was that different than the FS-N formula in terms of how the ink sits.> [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
