See Clayton Jone's early thread but the "tone" in regards to coolness
and warmth depends mostly on the paper used.  EEM and PR give nice
slightly warm prints.

No, I never do.  It does not smear on matte papers, if that what you
are asking.  Some people still like to spray matte papers and with
Eboni you can but it's not necessary.

No, just do a couple of cleaning cycles and nozzle checks when you
first install the cart.
