I have a new 2200, and am getting very nice BO prints using the methodology detailed by Clayton Jones. I've been using the Epson ink set, but have ordered Eboni Black. I hope that improves the slightly "non-black" look I'm now getting. I'm having one really frustrating problem -- the borders are uneven. Always. I've tried everything I can think of, including searching various forums for an answer. I know this isn't a really exciting topic, but I hope someone can give me some help on it. I'm printing from within Photoshop 6.0 on a PC. I want to print an image on 5x7 paper with .25 inch borders all around. My image in Photoshop is cropped to 4.5x6.5 inches. My printer settings are landscape, 5x7 paper size, centered, Epson Enhanced Matte, 2800 dpi, black only. The print preview shows a centered image with wider borders on the sides. The actual print has .25 inch borders on top and bottom, and .5 borders on the ends. The image is compressed (or clipped) to less than 6.5 inches. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dick Smith
