The profiles are not environments. Environments not only include the profile but also your linearization file, printer settings and the like. Have not printed on matte papers so I can't tell you how rich photo black prints. Matte black on glossy gives you a problem from what I have heard. ColorBurst has profiles for grayscale printing as well and I have gotten great results printing grayscale using the color profiles. Jim
