Hello Steve, Have you tried the Agfa SelectJet or Agfa CopyJet?(sheets and rolls) Have a look at: http://graphics.agfa.com/screen/selectjet/ It is a transparency with a kind of ceramic coating that can stand a much higher resolution than other transp. film, and I think it is cheaper than Pictorico as well. I use it for making negatives for gumprints. with best regards, Casper Cammeraat www.cascam.nl >>> steve@... 19-03-2004 06:07:04 >>> I tried the Pictorico Overhead transp. film in my 1280 a while back, but wasn't too thrilled with the results; the film had obvious (under a loupe) banding, where the same file on paper was completely smooth and clean. So I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a better alternative? I seem to remember mention of some kind of synthetic paper/backlight film, has any one had any success with that? Thanks, Steve Karafyllakis http://www.stevekphoto.com BTW: if anyone gets an e-mail w/ attachment from the above web-site URL, you should know 2 things: 1) the attachment is probably a virus, Nemsky or mydoom, or some such. 2)I have nothing to do with it, my site is being "spoofed", and I'm getting these things myself, so please don't blame me!
