The Wess ABX500K  slide mounts are exactly 36 x 24.4 mm wide. 
That is most of the time enough to get the edges scanned without 
too much stray light entering. You can always scrape the window a 
bit wider with a knife. I've a reputation of filling out enlarger 
carriers and reshaping scanner carriers but in this case I prefer 
the slide mounts + slide carrier.

If you want the sprocket holes etc included then you need a MF 
scanner with a glass carrier. There's a lot lost by the stray 
light though.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
