That is most of the time enough to get the edges scanned without too much stray light entering. You can always scrape the window a bit wider with a knife. I've a reputation of filling out enlarger carriers and reshaping scanner carriers but in this case I prefer the slide mounts + slide carrier. If you want the sprocket holes etc included then you need a MF scanner with a glass carrier. There's a lot lost by the stray light though. Ernst
