Yellowing is the coating's sensitivity to certain chemicals. This is
not confined to H papers, I've seen it on Somerset Enhanced and some
Epson papers over the years. German Etching is as likely to yellow as
any other, I've seen it here.
Unless tests are done with whatever papers you want to try, there's no
reason to believe avoiding H papers, or switching to something else
will keep the yellows away.
Avoiding OBAs is no real solution to this particular problem either.
Handling, packing, even where the prints sit around or are stored
needs to be carefully considered with all these papers.
