Don,
I bought the C84 brand new from Office Depot for $75 and ordered the EZ inks
from MIS. It works like a charm, very rich B&W prints. Or course, it starts
with the eye ...

My biggest piece of advice is to learn Photoshop. It's a steep learning
curve, but worth taking the time to learn.

I plan to move to the 1280 once I get more comfortable, but finding the C84
inexpensive and too easy right now.
