Thanks. You answered a thought I had about just using it for text and photos. I plan to get a C84 and those inks. The turnkey approach to it all sounds like a great way to get started. We already have an Epson RX500 printer/scanner as our all-around household printer. I can't quote its scanning resolution but it's pretty darn good for the money. And it does 35mm slides and negatives. Its 6-ink color prints are quite good too. $249. Obviously the money is in the ink, the way they are practically giving these printers away.
