I've started to make some comparison prints with several different printers, inksets and software. I've got a good collection going but have a way to go. I have directly compared a QTR print and an IP (demo) print on a 7600. The basic quality is identical, I doubt anybody could pick them out in a blind test. When you put a high power loupe to them naturally you can see the dot patterns ie the dither. They both appear nicely pseudo- random but you do get a feeling they are different but equivalent. Roy
