Unless your into cool and sepia stuff from the same printer, then you need the 6 ink printer like the 1280/1290. The 1290 is probably faster, but both have and equal record as far as trouble free. Some are some are not. If your printing for clients perhaps 2 1160's A back up is nice! Having been on this list since the beginning, I haven't seen alot of 1200 success stories.
