If you're seeing significant differences, my guess would be that the black points aren't the same. As far as I can see, Eye-One Match doesn't let you set the black point at all, and I don't know what it forces it to be. OptiCal at least lets you set the black point, and I think there's some virtue in not setting it as low as a blank screen, to better match the density range of a print. -- Ciao, Paul D.
